I have a 99 ram 1500 sport, my first dodge. When i stop at lights or the truck idles it wants to stall. Some times i will have to keep one foot on the brake the other on the gas to keep it from stalling. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated?

TPS sensor (Throttle positioning sensor). On the side of the throttle body. Probably bad, needs replacing.

either that...or maybe you have a bad front o2 sensor. everytime i would come to a stop, my truck would want to stall and i had to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running. it was a bad o2 sensor. plus, if his tps was bad, him gassing it to keep it running wouldn't do anything i would imagine.
truck starts fine, i have never had a problem with it starting. It is weird though, the truck sits on my days off, then when i drive it after about 2 days of rest it will run fine the first day. Then it seems like the more i drive it the worse it gets with wanting to stall.
yeah chime in guys I am having a similar problem and didnt want to start another post(I have a new tps sensor and front o2 sensor. Rear is not connected just unplugged untill I get my fastman and I still am using the stock map sensor)
thanks now I just need to find it. Also I am getting a 140 code (guessing 14 ) from my sct. I am using a used map sensor. but if the voltege is to low or too high then I will have to trace it back to the pcm.
Test both your TPS and IAC with a multi meter and use a manual to verify functionality of both items first. I am unfamiliar with that code due to your using the SCT. If voltage is too high/low on one of those sensors then it is faulty and need to be replaced.
