i now have been running e3 diamondfires that i picked up at advanced auto for 60$ for all 8 and it was well worth it, despite getting the bottom half seemingly stock plugs and having to pay an arm and a leg to get them out of my 122k truck (who leaves stock plugs in after that many miles?!?) but anyhow i turned on my trip meter today because my truck had a full tank of gas the other day and i used some up until the notch of the "F" so as soon as it hit that i reset the trip and was on my way... i drove around doing around 70mph highway for about 25% or so and the other 75% was about 50-45mph after going both ways and having about 53 miles on my trip and missing a bar of gas i was quite happy i did some mediocre calculations lol and seeing as its a 20 gal tank i figured theres 8 bars + another one because the half way over the F and the half way under the E i figured each 1/2 bar was about 1.11 gallons so divided my 50ish miles by 2.22 and got around 22.5... these being mediocre calculations i figured that was a tid bit high so i dumbed it down a bit to around 20ish mpg not bad not bad at all... so as the title says these plugs are amazing! the only mods on the truck is a thrush muffler dumped out the side and the e3 plugs, stock wires. so my final thoughts if your sick of getting terrible mileage, invest the 60 or so dollars for these plugs they rock!

sound like a great investment... your suppose to fill your tank up till it clicks. Reset miles at that time. Drive till almost empty. Refill up till it clicks. then divide miles drove by the gallons you put in it.

Lol I have heard there noting but junk from racers.
I've heard the exact opposite. I have yet to read one bad review on these. Any the design of them has started a new design for spark plugs for now on. These are suppose to be godly.

Well, if your plugs were 122,000 miles old, you are going to see a big difference. I've only used E3s once and that was in a Briggs and Stratton. It seemed to like the Bosch plugs better. Never tried them in anything else but I just stay with this guide:
GM - AC Delco
Mopar - Champion
Ford - Autolite
Toyota - Denso
Honda - NGK
Any small engine - Lots run great on NGK plugs.
I just dont see the benefit from using Champions that cost $24 for 8 or the E3s that cost $60 for 8. With the gains minimal, whats the point?
My dad bought one of these spark plugs for his yamaha yz426f he just bought. The bike wasnt starting easy and once he put this spark plug in it fires right up. Made the bike so much better with just one of these spark plugs. When i replace my intake gasket i will be buying these spark plugs for it. Expensive but i'm sure they will help
same with my ltr450 that I put one in. It's like a new engine.
But Nathan sounds right with his little guideline.

i highly doubt that you're actually getting 20mpg with a 5.9L...or any magnum engine for that matter. what you've used as far as gas and how far you've driven are not enough to accurately determine your mileage in my opinion. and how do you only have a 20 gallon tank? i'm pretty sure mine is 25 or so.
The smallest tank avalible in our trucks is 26 gallon. If you have the longbed you have the 35 gallon tank. But all 3/4 and 1 ton Rams had the 35 gallon tank.
