Went to change my front U-Joints this weekend, started on the drivers side and I couldn't get the axle nut off. Tried heating it, impact gun, breaker bar with pipe. No movement at all. I am just on glue yesterday and the stub axle has left hand threads on the drivers side? Any suggestions.
Thanks

Have you been soaking it with a quality penetrating oil also? IIRC, I have seen some on here say they have left hand threads, but not sure about that. I know mine and others I have done were all right hand.

Have you tried not removing the nut, but rather just removing the three hub bolts in the back and pulling the assembly out? The hubs will be hard to brake loose if you haven't had them apart in a while but you were going to have to deal with that anyway.
I was thinking about that today. I am going to but a new breaker bar after work today, and soak the nuts again everyday this week and try again on the weekend.
I know this an obvious one, but did you take the cotter pin out first...if there doesn't look like there is one there, it may be rusted off in the axle...
