Default 20" rims from 3rd gen wont fit!

Hey guys, I've got a 94' 1500 sport. 2wd, manual tranny. I got a set of 4 20" 3rd gen rims and tires at close to dirt cheap. Mounted all 4 and went for a drive. Steering cleared fine, back was obviously fine. Hit 20mph and my I got death wobble. Put my stock tires and rims back on the front for the time being. Went to a tire shop and had them balanced and put back on. When it was time for the front ones to go on the guy said they wont fit. Apparently my hub is too big for the rim to sit flush, causing my death wobble.

He said get new hubs, or have the rims bored out at a machine shop.

What's my best bet? Anyone have similar issues?

Thanks a ton,
Nick

I bought some 1/4 5 lug spacers from pepboys for 7.99 each and the problem is solved. Though my grease cap still sticks out, and the center cap wont go on because of the threaded spindle rod. It's about 1/2 too long for the center cap.

I'll check out that link though, thanks!

I might take the current grease caps to a wire wheel and buff them out, and then maybe just throw some clear coat over them to see how it looks. It's not like the rims are chrome so it should be fine.
