It needs to be done with the truck running and the front wheels raised, as mentioned above. It does nothing if the truck is not running. And you don't do it all at once, you should do a little at a time and wait for the air bubbles to disappear.

yea the instructions said raise front of vehicle off the ground. i did that, then it said make sure you keep the fluid level where it is supposed to be, and turn the steering wheel all the way left and all the way right with the engine OFF 20x. so i did that. then it said START the engine and turn it from left to right with the engine on...i did that about 20x. the steering is nice, but the pump is noisy...maybe i didnt do it enough, but i did it to the point where i couldnt see anymore bubbles coming up in the pump.

As far as I'm concerned, anything is better than a Cardone, but who know's. I hope you just have some air bubble issues that will work them selves out.

yea me 2. i mean..it turns really easy and fine, but it just makes some noise when turning...also at full lock...the high pressure hose jerks right when the steering wheel hits full lock, and the hp hose jumps a little from the pressure. is it supposed to do that?

i think so, i mean commmon sense tells me that when youre pushin hp fluid through a hose, and the output end srops it seems to me that the hose would jump a bit. similar to a hydraulic system on a loader or anything else.
