I have only owned my Ram for a few weeks, and I have noticed that the temperature guage is reading about 220 degrees. I have owned many vehicles in my day and the needle is usually dead center but my Ram seems to be past the middle. I just ordered a hypertech 160 degree thermostat, maybe that will help.

That is a little hot, as it should read about 200 with the stock 195 stat. Over the years, the research I've done says don't put in a 160 stat as it is too cold. Most of us are running 180 stats.

Mine has never reached 1/2 way. Normally sits about a needle width below. It has been on C for about 5 hours now. But that will change shortly after I start it
220 is a little too hot, I like the 180 range much better
i have been running about the same as you, put in a 180 and no change, new rad, no change, temp sensor was the problem.....with a 160 youll run around 180 probably
