I've got 2.5in pipes with a single chamber flowmaster. If you've ever seen a single chamber its less than 10 inches long, its very small. My truck is a lot louder than the video shows! I don't have headers yet but thats the next thing I'm gonna do.
That sounds really really good. I have the Flowmaster 50 Series SUV(which is 3 chambers), and it sounds nothing like that. It is about as deep at idle, but much more mellow when you get on it. Now you got me thinking about changing my muffler again.

Anyone know if there is any performance difference between the Flomaster 40 series (which is two chambers) and this single chamber Flowmaster? (by the way, Flowmaster told me that the 40 series and the 50 series perform the exact same, only difference is one is 3 chamber and quieter, and the other is 2 cahmber and a little louder).

When I took off the 40 series that I had anf went to the 10 series single chamber I noticed a slight increase in power. Thats because it has less restriction and lets the exhaust gases fow easier. But also remember I had my cat cut off and a Y pipe welded in its place so you won't get the sound that I have without doing that. Thanks for the compliments guys!
