Default finished snorkel pics

finished it today. people have mentioned that it looks small, and i'm beginning to agree. i have yet to drive it like this, so i dont know if the air will be restricted. probably should have went with 3" pipe.
oh well, if its restricted i'll make the same thing outta 3" instead of 2".

but here is the finished product

My question to you, is do you really need a snorkle? If soo, your probly better off not taking your daily driver in those places

??

Looks great for a DIY job...you did some nice work there. Just make sure if you're really going to use it for what it's designed for that you outfit the rest of the truck. You have tranny breathers, exhaust, and manifolds to think about.

drove it today...it adds a cool WHOOOOSH sound with the windows open now, but it does not restrict the motor at all

the main reson i got it, is that the stock location where the motor picks up air also picks up alot of mud. there was dirt all in my airbox, even after the air filter in some spots...so i am just trying to eliminate that when i play in the mud. i will not be submerging the truck to the point where i really need the snorkel (at least not intentionally), but i like to know that i'm getting cleaner air now
