you are nuts man... but it does look good. mud on the outside.. mud on the inside. hell the outside is probably cleaner now that you washed it.
just lift it up some more. that would be better than cuttin into the body. remember where the battery, computer, everything else sits. don't want to cut into any of that stuff.
