race in lifted trucks? lol

my friend just bought a 2000 gmc. although we are both lifted he keeps talking about how fast his truck is. he wants to race me haha. we are both ext cab 4x4. his motor (5.3) is rated at 285 horses mine only 245. he has 35's i have 33's. i have 3 inch lift he has about 7 inch. think i can take him?

edit: he is completely stock. i just have no muffler.

thats all depends on what gears he has in it. depends where and at what speed your racing. if from a dead stop and he's overgeared he might kill you. although i dont support street racing[8D]

Line some cars up in frontof both of you and paint sme graphics on the sides of your rigs and you 1970s monster trucks.

i say go for it i beat a 99 silverado with the 327 with 33s and i had on 35s and have the 360 with 4.10 gears it was from about a 45 kick though dont know what would have happened from a dig

i say go from a kick cause his truck will shut off at 100 and yours wont
