Default 24volt lights

Ya'all are filled with way too much information for your own good, so where can I get 24 volt light bulbs for a 50's army command jeep?

congratulations. my father and brother-in-law bought a 49 CJ-2A (split windshield) back in about 1968, and we used it for hunting for a long time. My brother in law still has it. I think it was originally 6 volt, and they re-elec'ed it for 12v. We bought all the parts by mail order from "Warsharsky and Co" out of Chicago. The parts were shipped back then by Greyhound bus. We would drive to town and pick them up at the bus station. I think they are out of business, or maybe turned into JC Whitney, as their catalog was very similar to Whitney's. Ours would go anywhere in any conditions, except when you high centered it in deep logging ruts and all 4 wheels were off the ground. oops. Good Luck.

Warsharsky and Co and JC Whitney were not the same company. "Back in the Day" I had catalogs from both coming to me on a regular basis. You're right though ... they were *******ly identical.
