Use common sense when working on your truck... wear safety goggles when needed and I recommend a good set of mechanics gloves... I have GoJo's which have a rubberized palm & fingers to grip nuts & bolts better. they are tight fitting and work great.

How do you change the headlight unit. Not the bulb, took the 3 bolts out but there isn't enough room for the light to come out without breaking it which is no problem since it has moisture in it but then I still have to get the new one in. I've already loosened 6 bolts on the bumper on the same side which it didn't help, then I started loosening bolts on the other side. If I keep it up the whole bumper is going to be laying on the ground. By the way 01 1500 5.9 quad cab with performance module, firepower ignition kit, electric fan and headers.
