Never said it did. But it will clean your intake, piston heads, valves, and TB (if the vacuum line permits). I was mainly trying to back up Sea-Foam as a product. I'm sorry it didn't 100% relate to the subject at hand, which is how to clean the injectors. Good luck

Will using plain water in a sonic cleaner damage the injectors?
With the cavitation process of a sonic cleaner what solvent is safe to use? seafoam? plain hardware solvent or those specialty detergents that is specifically made for a sonic cleaner, which is like simple green. ( I read somewhere that the caviation process is as hot as the sun temperature? is that correct?)

Do not use water to clean the injectors. You sure as hell wouldn't use water to clean a carburetor or any other fuel related component, would you? [] Mineral spirits or any other solvent for cleaning parts in a parts washer. As soon as I can, I am going to repost the pics from my engine building thread so you can see the before/after process.
All of the people suggesting Seafoam need to know that it isn't going to do squat on a plugged injector.

The best cheap way I have found is to buy one bottle each of:
Techron Concentrate Plus
Mopar fuel injector cleaner
Napa Auto Parts 'Kleen' two bottle pack
and then put them in your next 4 tanks of gasoline.
For the highly effective but more expensive way
Steve Dulcich likes this machine:
which can clean and test 8 injectors at a time.
There is an added advantage to this, because after testing you can install the highest flowing injectors in cylinders 7 and 8, which in most 5.2/5.9 V8s need a richer mixture to keep from pinging.
where do you get these fluids are they easy to find?
