So I'm going to be doing a full exhaust system this summer. Shorties, new down pipes with y pipe into a fake cat (yaaa cat-less) then to a si/do flowsound/flowmaster single chamber super 10. All 2 1/2 inch pipe. Now heres were it gets iffy. My orginal plan was to go straight out the back with 4" slash cut tips on each side of my hitch. But I was woundering if it's possible to got out at a 45 degree angle infront of the rear tires with the tips but on both sides of the truck. I've seen them both go out the passanger side and I don't like that look. Then I realized they don't sell kits like that because the gas tank is in the way on the driver side. So can it be done or not at all becuase of the tank is in the way? Call me crazy and I know I sound like a noob right now but the question has been bothering me haha.
can't be done. personally i like the 1 pipe out the passenger side of a truck in front of the rear tires. i am planing on building a custom muffler for my 93 so that i can actually exit the exhaust in front of the rear axle on it which is a bit difficult with how short the wheel base is.
i guess as long as you don't mind paying for something that looks good and does not really benefit the truck performance wise. i am too cheap to waste money running pipe past the rear axle.
Haha you guys are funny. But ya all the "performance" exhaust kits out there are tooooo quiet for what I'm lookin for. Thats why I'm doing what I'm doing.
