Default Brembo BBK install / conversion 2013 durango

I will edit the thread and post more details as I get some more time...

A big thank you to SCOTT (Scottina11heat) for paving the way and supporting me with my many PM's and Q's...
And to my kids for understanding why I may not be able to send them to college..and my wife for not throwing me out of the house..

-2012 JEEP SRT8 OEM Brembo Calipers (4 Piston rear) - WeRmopar $300 each

-Bendix (Jurid) MKD1405 Front Semi-Metallic Pads - RockAuto $32
-StopTech (Centric) Rear Para-Amid Pads - RockAuto $48

-ATE Dot 4 Brake Fluid - $15 TireRack
-Caliper Pin & AR Clip kit F+R (Centric) - $16 each Rock Auto

I just want to stress how important properly bedding in new brakes pads and rotors is...

When I left the shop and drive home the new brakes felt much worse than the factory/OE durango brakes. The pedal was soft, pedal travel was farther, and they felt overall like a$$ ! it was POURING rain so I just drove the 30 miles home in moderate traffic carefully and parked the truck. Next day drove to and from work same thing...

Finally I get home from work day 2 and its nice out so I drive over to a big empty lot and did 30 stops from 30mph with 30 seconds cool down between each stop...and now THEY STOPPPPP ! Feels no worse but I think a bit better than the old OE DD setup. I will know more over the next Few days as I drive them a bit harder and cover more ground...

I really wanted to keep everything Brembo, but they don't make the matching Sport pads for this kit or Jeep SRT8's aftermarket, and I was gonna get the front OEM SRT8 Brembos pads for $160 but Chrysler changed the part # and price ($275-$300 a set!) just days before I went to buy...

So with VERY few options (surprisingly) available for 2012+ Jeep SRT8 brake pads, my research brought me to the Bendix, who owns Jurid, and makes/made the OE SRT8 brake compound FOR BREMBO!
I know 2010 SRT8 owners report it's the same compound for much less $$, and I believe they are right - The dust, grab/performance and look/compound of these pads looks the same as the OE Brembos....

I have someone selling me there new take-off SRT8 pads and rotors soon at a great price, I will likely switch to those pads when these are wore down...

the stoptech rear pads feel great as well and are also close in look and behavior to the front pads...

Ok let me get this right, 2k for brakes, 1k for wheels, 1K for tires, LOVE IT....Now how do I get this passed the finance director ???? Man those look awesome ! I wish they would just make the DD SRT8 so I can trade in my rig for one. Love the D's don't like the JGC's.

I wish these brakes fit behind the Viper reps.

i wonder if the clearance issue is front or rear? Maybe as simple as a small spacer to clear them?? Anyone know for sure?

whats your guys' offset? +35 right?

I know with my +30 offset 22" SRT Reps its about 2 coochie hairs from rubbing the wheel...
So yours should be close but I dunno man...+5 more may be too much..

Damn they get better with use now that they are bedded..
Stops on a dime, no squeal (yet?), no brake fade,
grippy but easy to modulate...

VERY VERY happy with this setup ..
especially that it was prob AT LEAST $1k to $2k less than what an "aftermarket" Brembo BBK kit would cost front & rear + SS lines !!
