short descriptions of pics:
1 set of Crower springs for a Dodge Neon. They just happen to be the same size as cummins springs, and at cummins installed height will give 115-117# of valve seat pressure to help keep me from floating my valves with increased boost pressure (I will likely be pushing 75psi by the end of this build)
1 set of Manton Racing .095 wall 3/8" chromoly pushrods. (factory cummins length)
(had them custom made. They will handle the extra stress of the increased spring load no sweat where the stockers would be extra fatigued and have a high risk of bending)
and finally the power adder...
1 set of 6x.013 micro blind hole "SAC" injectors custom built for me by Weston Shupe.
6 = hole count .013 = hole size.
micro blind hole sac = the nozzle style.
pop pressures are set to 300bar, spray angles are set at 152*
They should wake the twins up a bit...
I currently have DDP-150hp in there, and these if I had to guess at a HP number, it would be in the ball park of 220-250hp+ added over stock (they are capable of maxing out the injection pump if I push injector duration all the way)

meh. If it's not a v8 gasser, the mods get all bent out of shape over it and want it in the diesel section LOL.
That and you gassers think it's just me bragging :P
Anyway, build is started!!
My help ran out on me early to go chase after poon, so I was stuck with very minimal help from the old man doing this alone...
Old man helped by informing me when the piston was at TDC and rockers were loose while I was under the truck with a ratchet and socket hand cranking the motor over.
so far I have the valve cover off (obviously), all 6 injectors and cross tubes pulled, and I have replaced the springs and push rods on #1 and #6 so far, as well as adjusted the valves after putting in the new springs and push rods.
Also took the opportunity to re-torque the head studs while I had the rockers off since I was already in there, figured it would be a good time to do so just for peace of mind.
here's a few pics I snapped...
sorry, not many pics yet as I was basically working alone without help, so constantly changing gloves just to snap a pic of a step is just wasting time and gloves.
Will get more pics tomorrow, and injector comparison pics tomorrow as well.
working on #6
new springs and push rods in #1
side by side stock push rods next to new push rods
more to come tomorrow.
Here is my cummins forum thread if you want to see more detail in the process...

even closer view!
last two injectors and connector tubes waiting to be installed...
again go to the cummins forum thread if you want more detail to the process lol.
got it done yesterday afternoon and got all of the valves adjusted and such. truck still hazes at idle, and damn it can lay out some smoke now! lol also quite a bit snappier.

old man has an he341cw with a cracked turbine housing laying around.
my buddy has 2 S400 T6 turbos. no idea on housing sizes...think they both may be bigger than 1.32... They came off of some big machines. has an s300as well that needs rebuilt...it is also a bit large on the exhaust size...
