Default Catalytic converter help. ASAP!!

Ok guys so as some of you may know, i am changing my exhaust again. This time for good. I am going to run 2 1/2 inch pipes down from the manifolds to no cats to 18 inch glasspacks and then into 2 1/4 inch pipes and out to 3 1/2 inch tips. With that being said, i am so nervous because i dont know how not having cats will make it perform. I have heard mostly that it wont hurt anything and then i have heard a little that it will get very poor mileage and run horribly. Answers!!

my 01 had no reaction to cat removal, other than being louder with the stock muffler. no CEL. a little more exhaust smell.

don't destroy your O2 sensors, and put them back into some kind of Y-pipe or test pipe or something.

If your truck doesn't like it, it will let you know that you need to put it back.

These trucks are so damn weird with their separate personalities.

CEL=Check Engine Light Do you have a Cali Rig? If so, you'd be better of leaving the cats on.
