don't know what the sensor is but the screw holds the sensor on there so to not leak fluid. judgeing from the fluid on the sensor connection maybe a oil temp sensor??
The location is "wrong" for the crank position sensor. He says "front" of the engine. The CPS is over the starter, just under a freeze plug, on the rear (tranny) side of the engine.
Can you widen out the picture a bit?
That looks nothing like my CMP. I can see that through the wheel well.
thanks for the replies. I found a bolt that threaded in to hold it in place. Could this be the cause of the dreaded "no bus" issue i have been fighting?
I just ordered a ECU yesterday before I found this sensor.
