Lower Control Arm Bolts Unavailable...Help
I've been trying to find new lower control arm bolts, the ones on the truck are completely stuck. There is no way they are coming out without destroying them. They are NOT available from any Dodge dealership or other online source. I have been in contact with corporate and they were supposed to be available in the beginning of November now he just said they won't be available until January. I have tried different online vendors and ebay. No one has them. The truck has been sitting for 2 months now. Corporate offered me a 6% off certificate for a new dodge truck and a fair KBB value for trade in. Unfortunately I can't afford a brand new truck.
Does anyone have one spare bolt lying around? I know I can have a machine shop make them if I had something for them to copy or the specs. Corporate refused to send me the specs on the bolts. At work we just had our machine shop make up 6 special metric bolts for a heavy duty gearbox, which were no longer available. Any help appreciated.

You could try going to any auto parts store that has a bushing for the lower C-arm and use that as a guide then go under and measure the lengthen of the bolt???
As close as it gets!
Grade 8 I'm sure with a corrosion coating for rust I would also not use all thread get as much heavy steel as you can

There should be enough thread sticking out that you can measure the diameter. And the length is easy to measure without removing them.
You should be able to find them on this page unless they have adjusting cams on them (but I don't remember if they do).
BTW, It would be helpful if you told us exactly what your truck is (What year? 2WD or 4WD, etc.).
