Default 2005 grand caravan speedometer/odometer

Hello everyone, newbie here.

My 2005 Grand Caravan SXT (3.8L) died a couple of weeks ago. 235,000 milies

They replaced the PCM and now the speedometer and odometer are not working.

Likely causes?
ANY help would be much appreciated. I planned on trading this in and without the odometer working, it isn't worth much...

Anytime you replace a powertrain or transmission controller, you need to set the pinion factory so you have speedometer.

Thank you very much for your reply!

So it's possible that the dealer tech just forgot to set the pinion?

Is this something I can do, or should I contact the service manager about it?

Yes, its possible that the tech may have forgotten to set the pinion factor.
