Default Least restriction HEADERS?

Hello everyone!!!

I'm looking into swapping out my headers. What would be the best setup? Shorty? Long tube? Etc

What do you have on there now?

Shorties flow better than the stock manifolds, long tubes flow even better. Trouble is, you don't get much of a choice in long tubes.... I think pacesetter is the ONLY manufacturer that still makes them for the 2nd gens. Long tubes will require some exhaust modification though. Shorties are usually just bolt ons.

Going to move this to the tech section.

I like spintech. I did not know they made headers. Those look like they would work well on a 4x4 truck.

Is this what you have on yours Merc?

No I have Gibson headers on my truck, if they ever die I will be looking at the Spintechs for sure.

I have the stock headers on there now and the truck is about to his 13yrs. I figure I've gotten few things done to the exterior (bed liner, 08 Ram 17"s, nerf bars, bumper trims, 6000k HIDs, 3000k fogs, clean engine bag &#128522 that I think I should pay attention the motor for a while. Eventually I'm going to swap out the exhaust for something a bit less restrictive and I want to start at the headers.

Stock right now, and I have a buddy that works on "real fast" Honda S2k's, suggesting the long tubes from pacesetter. So far that also the brand I find. The price is very comfortable considering I have to modify my existing setup. I don't mind having to modify since in reality I'm also swapping that out in then next couple of months.

I was thinking these. I like to color and the price is sweet.
