Hey guys,..i got a 97 plymouth breeze. i was driving normal the other day and the tranny starting making a high pitch noise and would like put itself into nutruel them go back into drive again,...then when i was sitting in my garage trying to see what was wrong when i put it into gear it would jerk real hard and it made a screaming like noise again....i thought the tranny was going out cause its the original with 83,000 miles on it. so i got another tranny with 32,000 miles on it and put it in,..for the first 20 seconds going down my driveway it was fine and as soon as i was getting ready to leave,.it did the same thing, it would be smooth then go straight like into nutruel like i put it in nutruel (but i didnt)....so now its not the tranny,.what could it be!? the pcm? the computer? its an automatic,.......could the shifter be bad? not letting it know when to go into gear? if nebody has ne help it would be appreciated!!

sounds like the trannsmision ecu to me, but then again i am basing my information off of mitsubishi cars, not pylmouth/dodge
