Where to put flush T on 97 Ram
Ok so I have the dreaded no or minimal heat in my new to me ram. It had a heater core done recently and has been like this at least since then according to the previous owner.
I read about putting a flush kit T in the heater hose near the core to help release the air. Which side do I put it in drivers or passenger?
Which side is inlet, which is outlet?
Thanks for any help, hoping to solve this asap as its a bit chilly in there now.

Those on passenger side is inlet, hose on drivers side is outlet. You want to put the T in the outlet hose, at its highest point. Unfortunately, that is RIGHT by the heater core. (fun place to work in.....) I just lay across the top of the engine. If the engine is warm, keeps me warm too.

I bought mine individually from a local parts store. Cost me $2.00 + two clamps. Its a 5/8" T.
I put it on the drivers side beside the brake booster. Was a little distance away from the core outlet but where it is I can lift up the hose and hang it with a piece of wire so its higher than the rest of the system including the heater core while I am bleeding the air out.
Not sure if its the best way but so far it seems to be helping.
