Hypertech Interceptor for 2011-2013 5.7L hemi. Part number 705003. Had it for 6 months and was really happy with it. Bought a Range Rover yesterday.

 

Congrats on the range. That's what the wife wants but I told her it'll have to wait till after law school. How do you like it so far?

 

Great. Wish it were new but I can't complain. I was surprised by how quick and smooth drives. It's a 2010 Sport HSE with 43k but got a bumper to bumper warranty for 3yrs or 100k. I had to promise my wife we would trade cars a couple times a week though.

 

My buddy's wife has one, he says to honor the warranty the dealer has to do the oil changes and they are over $200 . Ouch

This is the only one I have. I've had the Colgan on another vehicle and I know they are great quality. I really like that it has the screen/mesh that helps stop bugs and debris from hitting the grille and radiator.

 

What year was your Durango, does the Hypertech need new programming if I put it on a 14' with the 8 speed and different exhaust?

 

Mine was a 2012 and the Hypertech website says the same part number 705003. No new programming needed, just plug and play. I checked for an update about a month ago and it said I was up to date.
