I have 8000k in my red truck, and 10000k in my black Ram. You'll need 9004 bi-xenon bulbs.

order from here. great products, great price!

stay away from the crappy ebay kits.

9004 bixenon bulbs if you have an slt.

youll need a 9004, and 9007 kit if you have a sport.

The higher the number, the less light output. I personally dont go over 5000k. Ricers like the blue/purple/green stuff that is above 5000k. Completely counter productive if you are trying to get more light from your headlights.

Listen to redneck_ram and get a good HID kit. I got some projectors on my truck with pre installed HID kits and they SUCK!

When they wear out, I'm getting a good kit from DDM's website. I might just sell mine down the road and get custom headlights for mine for around $450 without HIDs but they look bada**! I know a guy that custom makes the headlights. Color changing halos too.

+1

Also visibility does NOT improve at those higher numbers. It decreases....

DDM Tuning sells on Ebay. So are you saying that the kits they sell on Ebay are crap but the ones you get off their website are good? I would guess they are the same.

I've purchased many of these with absolutely zero issues. One kit I bought had a bad ballast out of the box and they sent me a new one next day at no cost and no questions.
