Default Just water pump?

In a nut shell. Water leak. Pour water into my (cold) radiator, engine off. Starts coming out in a matter of seconds behind belts in the water pump area. I can see it from the side but not directly. Water pump replacement I would imagine, but what other problem is possible?
Thanks in advance...

somehow my text disappeard. Anyway...With the above, and other instructions, it has me holding the bolts on the pully so I can turn the 36mm fan bolt. My pully has no bolts sticking out. Here's a pic. Also a pic with arrows from instructions. Also, just looking at the pump, holes don't seem to match up anyway. Thanks.

ah.. your pulley is part of the water pump like my 92 5.2 one, you never specified year/engine size ect.. so i took a stab in the dark..

removing the fan is a pita, i used an air chisel on a fan removal tool to pop mine off when clutch failed, since replaced with electric, now truck was replaced with a JEEP TJ (rust rust and more rust)

anyway concept is still the same for everythign else cept the fan physical removal if changing pump definatly you can vice grip the pulley since grabbing it dont eally mater is you bend pulley..

Got it. Put a couple loose screws in 2 holes for resistance with screwdriver, bolt turned with just a couple tugs. Had WD40 on it for 4 few hours. Mine is '93, 3.9L. May have been replacd at one time. I understand they mostly all the replacement parts are like that. Thanks again!

There is a special tool for them works kinda like a spanner wrench it has pins that go into the holes and a long handle to hold it from spinning about $45-good job on ur method-
