Durango Lives On (Refresh Coming for '17)
FIAT released all their 5-year plans today.
Durango confirmed to get refreshed in late '16 and live alongside the Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
Sorry to all you who insisted the JGW would be built at Jefferson North Assembly and no way did that plant have the capacity to build both it and the Durango.
Odd though that '17 is being dubbed a mid-cycle refresh for the Durango. I thought '14 was a mid-cycle refresh.

SRT is also being rolled back in to the Dodge brand. Finally got their heads straight on that one...
Dart SRT and Journey SRT are on their way.

According to that, 2017 will be a "mid-cycle refresh", same as 2014 was.
Whereas this chart for Jeep shows an "all-new" Grand Cherokee coming 3Q 2017, with the Grand Wagoneer following in 3Q 2018 (how many years behind schedule is the Grand Wagoneer now?)

Assuming the Durango continues to share the platform, I doubt they would introduce the redesigned platform with the Durango. More likely they introduce it with the GC / GW in 2017/2018 and in 2019 or so the Durango gets a comparable redesign to join the Jeeps. Or they kill the Durano at that point.

Literally LOL at the taillights remark here at work. So true, I'm interested to see what they come up with in terms of body lines.
