read through every page on here since some of the post are old from valve spring r&r's did any particular brand seem better then another for valve stem seals? Felpro is what I see most offered.

air ram performance has a tool rental but no contact# Does anyone have this #? Or is it just an online order/rental only

That's what I used on mine. I don't get the blue puff on start-up any more.

Air Ram's tool broke when I used it, so I'm out $200. There's another one on the market for ~$125. I forget who makes it. Several vendors sell it, though.

I don't have experience with Fel Pro valve stem seals on these engines, but I have lots of experience using Fel-Pro gaskets, whether just for a valve cover, or a head gasket, and some valve stems on other engines, and I have had nothing but good luck with them. Depending on what I'm buying I have a few go to brands that I purchase, and for Gaskets my go to is Felpro, they've never done me wrong.
