RE: 93 dodge dakota wiring diagram
Im looking at my service manual and I know what it is saying is somewhat wrong so I will wing it for ya.
The Grey plug is basically your power source.
(Pink) and or (red and white) are your power sources, one is ignition triggered and one is a constant to keep the clock set.
(Orange) illuminates the lights.
(Black and Yellow) dimms the lights. (Similar to one or the rear speaker wires, so be careful.)
The Black plug is for speaker outputs and power antenae (which wont be there)
(Blue and Red) and (Purple) are for the right font speaker.
(Brown and Red) and (Green) are for the left front speaker.
(Blue and Orange) and (Blue and White) are for the right rear speaker.
(Brown and Yellow) and (Brown and Blue) are for the lefft rear speaker.
Hope this helps.

Yes, same wire colors. Pretty much any Chrysler produced vehicles, except the Mitsubishi based stuff, share the same radio wiring all the way up to at least 2002 with little variation. In late 2002, the radio plugs changed and so did some of the wire colors.
