not like i am an admistrator here, but from my other forums I am an admin at, and from knowing all other forums, you don't necessarily get a reply even if it has high views....just my two cents....you posted less then 24 hours ago, we all have things to do too you know....

maybe many people are looking for an answer for your same problem for if they run into it too, and waiting for someone with the knowledge to reply....

maybe i don't have room to talk, but rushing isn't going to make anyone help you any faster...give it a few, just trying to help the impatience...

Sorry if it seems like i am being impatient, however, this is my primary car for my family and I will be leaving the country for more than awhile. Unfortunately I am leaving soon and I really need to get this fixed. If my attempts to repair this go south hen the car will be tied up in the shop for about a month due to the back log of the parts. So if it seems like I am in a rush, it is because I am. Sorry to put anyone out or upset anyone.

ok, once you remove the two torks head screws in the back, you can insert a scredriver in the hole and pop off the cruse switches on both sides to expose two more t-head screws. Undo both of these and the air bag comes right off. Ues a steering wheel puller and your done! Just rember to mark the position of the steerin wheel to the shaft.

It was the clock spring, they are hard to comeby for a 01' though. There is 174 on back order right now, I got lucky and found mine at a Jeep dealer. Once again Jeep pulls through, that is why I just bought one!
