Mobil 1 (5w 20)...have since the first oil change at 3K. It now has 23,000.

Was running Mobil1 and have had great oil analysis

Switching to either Q.S., Pennzoil, Shell full syn.

I run amsoil 5W-30 in the Dakota. I run Mobile 1 5W-30 in the Talon. If I wasn't using E85 as a fuel for the Talon, I would run amsoil. Mobile 1 has good characteristics when mixed with ethanol. However, if one was running methanol, then my recommendation would be Royal Purple XPR 5W-20. It has REALLY good characteristics with methanol.

I've used Castrol GTX conventional 5w20 in all my vehicles since 1985. And cheap Fram filters, too!
