Cold air intakes

Here is a pic of my DIY setup. I plan on doing a write up after I get an air dam made.

Tried many, but I am using a True Flow system.
Have the intake tube wrapped in insulation made just for this purpose.
Has a dual stage True Flow foam filter in the stock airbox.
I recorded my lowest IAT's with this setup.
Can't tell over exhaust if it makes any sound or not. Looking for good filtration and low IAT's, not noise.
Would do again. Metal tube and open K&N was just too high with the IAT's.

What type of wrap are you referring to can anybody help me with this one.

I am using this, 2 layers, each wrapped loose so that they are better insulating.

It was long enough that I could cut it in half and use just one pc, to wrap it twice.

Going to try this kind next and see if my IAT's change at all.
I am all about function, not sound or looks. So this may not be for everyone. If wanted more sound, not that it will be easy over my dual SLP Loudmouths, I would reinstall my big aluminum "pipe" system and the huge open K&N that I have.
