The truck Dodge should have built

I finally got the under seat box carpeted and a rim around the top to clean it up.
The battery fit perfectly and is just flush with the top of the box.
I sure wish I could figure out how to add pic's to my posts.
I did add a finished pic to my Flickr page and even opened a photo bucket account but still cant figure out how to get a nice sized pic into a post.
Pathetic!

Right click on your full size pictures, or the size you choose in flickr, and select "copy image url" Then use the forums image button, paste the link in the line and you will get this;
Looks a bit low res though, I wonder if that's a limitation of flickr. I use photobucket for all mine, lots of cool tools with photobucket. It generates your link codes for you and everything.

Well, I have been driving this sucker for the last couple of weeks.
It really hauls!
With 25lbs of boost it makes some serious power and awesome turbo sounds.
Usually start out in second if its an empty truck.
Did a test tow with our 19 foot 5th wheel over the local mountain pass last weekend and it maintained a higher speed on the really steep parts than with the 4.7 so I'm pretty pleased.
Starting next week we are heading all the way from west coast to east coast of Canada and then back home through the northern US.
Got the A/C plumbed and hooked up this week as well as an onboard air compressor for the airbags as well as roadside tire inflation.
I'm installing a remote switch on the rear bumper to allow height adjustment of the air bags from the rear when hooking up to the trailer, always thought that would be handy.
All the gauges work other than the tach which I will play with once we get home.
Had the guys down the street ( Northwest Fab) make a 1 inch spacer to get the front drive shaft back in so its a 4X4 again.
Once I get back I will have a pretty good idea of fuel consumption and hopefully some video.
Ran out of time on building my own side steps but found the ones from my 2000 quad cab were a direct bolt on so they are on till we get home and I have time to finish the ones I started to build.

That's awesome man, good job. Can't wait for after my trip to do my swap... it's gonna be a blast.
Between the two of us, we'll have the two trims that should have been available from the factory to begin with lol. Though a diesel powered mid-size would have been an industry leading move for Dodge..
