superdak------chip help

Default superdak------chip help

hey superdak, i know you have a chip and i've told you this before...
mine is VERY loose it doesnt make sense, it literally slides on and off the panel without even grasping the metal teeth. is yours on the second one down? i duno whats going on but it doesnt clip or grab into place in any way.

i am at wok right now, so i cant send you a pick. but check to make sure there is nothing in the way. an check to see if the chip has the little black tab still connected to it. if you look at the chip you will see the outline of a groove. this is wereit sits in the pcm. and it should click into place.

Yes, it's on the second one down and it should clip in with no problems. Should be a little stiff going on.

I have it in the right place and I even see the clip that's supposed to latch it but it doesn't work. I even tried to bend it to get it closer and it just won't go. And it's not stiff at all sliding it on it's like the holes are too big in the chip or something. gaaay.

the onlother thing to do is buy a ford. remove the whole pcm from the truck and se what is causing the problem. it might be easier to install it this way.

mine snapped right into place and stayed there. i also sent him a pic of the chip and he has the correct one. i cant explain why it has so much play.

Mine did too. Maybe you should send it back to Jet and get another one from them and see if that works.
