Default New Intake on an '05

In a quest to get a bit more sound from my 4.7, I fit an intake from an '04 onto a 2005. It's not a true CAI, but it's a start.

Minor fitment problems, and hopefully, I'll pick up a few mpg. The sound alone is well worth it.

That's slightly skewed. I'll try to fix it in the Spring, I may be able to get it straightened out. For now though, it doesn't leak, so I'm happy with it.


This picture is embarassing, since I haven't fixed it yet, but it works. I'll buy a piece of hose and the right size clamps in the Spring.


Finally, the IAT. I had to punch a hole in the rubber to make a spot for it. It's holding, though.
