What's the plug number that you got? Checked one site, 2 listings for 4.7, 2 different plug number for each listing but don't give which is 4.7 and which is 4.7HO...different gap also, .035 and .044.

3923s are in. There is not even a comparison to the 5224s I put in before my trip to CA. They were great for the highway, but absolutely sucked in local traffic. So, the 3923s are in and since I had experience with my last Dak with them, I know they will perform nicely.

I read about the improved performance and mileage with the Iridium and Autolite plugs, but I had already bought a set of Champion Platinum. Since I already had these, and did not want to pay $15 each for the NGK plugs, I installed the CPs at 39,000 miles. Mileage improved to 19.8 on the road (was 17.9-18.8 depending on conditions), and went up +1.5 in town. The truck also seems to have more power. Every one of the old plugs was gapped wrong. Possibly due to wear. New plugs were gapped at .040 and the old ones were gapped .045 to .050.
ive got 4.7 w/ sct tune and put reg.ngk vpower in after autolites and champ. runs perfect, smooth.easy start, very quick accelleration, even at 70 mph I gas it and it takes off, about 20 mpg hwy(easy cruising) 12-15 city.
