I am not sure without actually going out there and measuring it. I would say that 4" longer would get me in the clear no problem. I tried to find the stock hose length online, but no dice.

Maybe. I did come up with one other option, I can order a new line at the dealership, and there is a brake company not to far from me that said if I bring them the line, they can use the heads and create an extended line from it. They are the only guys around here with the tools to do it.
I guess I could do that. The line is around $35 from dodge, and I havn't really asked what it would cost to make an extended one but I can't imagine it being too much.
I wish I had some more information on the soft line itself, like if its a male end, and then a female end on the other side, like the rear of the tacomas. A buddy of mine who had a lift kit on his tacoma actually bought a replacement brake hose, and just connected it to the one already on the truck, like an extension. Pretty slick really, but that was because his line was "male" to "female" so he could use it as an extension cord of sorts.
I am ordering the line either way, so when I have it in my hand, i will be able to tell, it may be as simple as that. If not, then I will have to get it extended by that brake place by me.
I am still waiting for DoneyPunch to get back to me, as I would definately buy the extended line from him.
Yeah I have since removed my part of the argument with the EDIT feature, lol. Yes, I have since fixed the diff tube, I suspended it 4" below the bracket it was originally attached too, so its safe and sound.

many jeep guys just go to the hardware store and buy an extended length and route it up high for water fording. This has to be done to the front axle rear axle transfercase and transmission, they all have these breather lines.

So i jacked up the truck again, and also used ramps to get full flex on each side of the rear axle. There is 100% no way you can stretch or break the brake lines with 2" blocks and the rough country shocks that I have. The sway bar limits the travel. I don't know if the sway bar out of the picture would produce too much articulation for the brake lines, but with the sway bar on theres zero reason to be concerned at all.
Also, you don't really need to bend that bracket I mentioned above. Without bending it, you still have some breathing room with that soft brake line.
