I look at it this way, when you need the 4x4 it's good to have it. Same with the V8. I don't tow all the time, but it's good to have it when you need it.

Back in Maine 4x4 is definitely useful in the winters. From what I've heard about how much snow this area gets (I'm in the NYC area now) I'll be surprised if I use mine more than 2 or 3 times other than going to visit the family in Maine. Even then it's more of a convenience than a need unless there is a ton of snow on the ground and 2wd just won't go anywhere (rare).

Well i think in the past 5 years my brother has been stuck in the house 10-15 times and he has a 2002 mustang....im hoping the dakota with some weight in the rear will handle it....and then for when i go upstate if i get stuck in some mud i think the winch will be able to pull me out as long as i can find an anchor point XD

You will definitely go a lot better than a mustang in the snow .

The only thing worse in the snow than a Mustang is a Bicycle...and then at times the Bicycle is better

I think im going to get it.........this is driving me insane.....tommorow i probally will be ready to call my uncle and get the paper work fedexed........then start to worry about it being 4x4.....do more thinking.....call.....change my mind again ahhhhhhhh lol
