its a great marketing idea with the phone calls and emails....but is been proven before... not saying any of you are like this but. if they start grinding for the 4.7....how many people do you actually think will buy them as opposed to just liking the idea that they are available?

I am going to need one... my tax money is going into a remote turbo kit from KRC... I would really like a 212 for when I get into that...

I would definately get them. Probably just the H.O. equivalent, but would still get them.

My newest reply from Comp Cams.

"Hi Billy,
I am guessing that CRANE CAMS was grinding cams for the 4.7L motor as we have not actually ground any cams for this motor. The desire for this engine to have a camshaft manufactured has grown greatly within the last week or so and we have taken notice. Thank you for the videos and dyno results showing the gains you experienced with your cams. As of right now we are not grinding anything for this motor but it is being looked into for future camshafts. Please just keep your ears open and know we have heard the request and we will try to satisfy. thanks.

For more information about any other COMP CAMS product, please feel free to contact COMP CAMS at 1-800-999-0853 or at www.compcams.com
Thank you for choosing COMP CAMS

Thats awsome... much different responses then we where getting just a week ago.

Guys, its starting to look like its leaning in our favor... BUT!!!

I would concentrate more on recruiting more 4.7L owners to call Comp Cams more then calling numerous times. They are talking about possibly asking for a Deposit from those who are ready to buy now... this would be show of commitment from us to them, it would be their way of separating the boys from the men so to speak.

Now I dont feel its the same guys calling day in and day out... But I don know some of US have called more then a couple of times. We need to recruit more 4.7L owners to our cause... so please concentrate on finding new forums and making a post on this subject... This way IF they do ask for a deposit there will be enough people ready with cash in hand.

On a side note, I did talk to two people from Comp Cams... both have said the phones have been ringing off the hook and e-mails have been overwhelming... They have changed their position to "We now know there is an overwhelming demand for the 4.7L engine and are now ACTIVELY looking into the 4.7L cam development."

Keep up the good work and RECRUIT... if you have the space... add a 4.7L COMP CAMS link in your signature of every forum your on... this would help reach more people rather quickly.

Hello,

I just want to let everyone know that we are currently working jointly with Chrysler in an effort to get their H.O. cams back on the shelf. This process is moving along quickly and we expect Chrysler will have their full offering of H.O. cams back in stock very soon.

Thank you.
