Default Exhaust System!!!

Just dumped my factory exhaust for a new sound. I had a Magnaflow 12586 muffler installed. I stayed with the single system. The 12586 is 22 inches long in the body while the old factory system was 31 inches.

We also dumped the rear resonator but kept the front one. It has a nice low rumble sound when you get on it but it's pretty quiet at idle. I'm going to drive it a couple of weeks and see if it gets a little louder when it breaks in a bit.

If it doesn't gain anymore rumble I will dump the front resonator and hope it doesn't get to loud as there's no turning back at this point. I listened to exhaust systems on youtube till I was sick of it. I was thinking of Flowmaster but that sound was a bit much. To each his own I guess.

Anybody have Magnaflows on their 4.7 V8's?

I have Maganflows on my truck and love it. It chopped both res' right off the bat.

Frenchy, why is your stuff always better than anyone elses. You don't know how it sounds. Give a compliment once in a while, it won't hurt.
