Default 05 dakota remote start

having a little trouble figuring out the xk532 programing
i cant seam to get the remote start to work with the xk532

I need a little bit more info...


What remote start are you using? (model number)
What resistance are you using on parking light + and -?
are you using factory key fob or separate?

Isn't the xk532 for door locks?

If I remember right, that bypass works for door locks and interface... but it needed 2 good programmed keys to program. Also, are you sure your truck has a sentry key? (if you pop open the fob, you will see a little transmitter like normal, then you will see another... if your not sure, post up a pic and I can tell you.)

Weren't all the sentry keys gray? The last installer I talked to said the black ones are normal and the gray ones have the sentry key.
