Well the Ram is their core moneymaker in the truck line up and I can understand that. But this whole "hold the Dakota back because it might compete with the Ram in any way shape or form" horse**** has to stop...

Will do, Actually these meeting are like we talk you listen LOL I have heard this speech so many times every time we get sold it's kinda getting old.. I call all of us that work there the red headed step child like some cheap HO that keeps getting passed around LOL.. I love the Chrysler product, every new Suv or truck I buy will always be a Chrysler product love the looks and I myself have never had a problems with them and the bad press we get I dont think is deserving.. Since Chrysler has clothed me and put food on my table for 43 years I have a strong loyalty to them since my father retired from there as well.. Cya Slick

I allways liked the dakota, but, the truth is dodge cab build a full size Ram truck that out hauls, out class's and out pulls and get better mpg than a dakota, add a diesel engine or keep the v/6 4.7 or hemi that gets better or = mpg to a dakota and thier ya go...

off topic.. but Dodge and jeep build too many SUV'S, that's were the cut's should start

The v6 and the 4.7 in the Ram do worse than the Dakota for mpg. The Hemi has MDS which is what closes the gap. A full size should have a higher towing capacity than a mid size so I'm not really sure how that's something wrong with the Dakota?

Myself I like the mid size truck personal preference I guess.. That and I drive 100 miles a day for work but the water for my jet ski's and boat is only a mile away and I let the wife have the Hemi in the Cherokee limited for the long tows and she does not drive as far as I do for work..Cya Slick
