Exclamation Security light constant on, no lights, no start, NOTHING

HELP HELP HELP!
My security light is on on the dash - constant, not blinking. It goes a little dim when i put the key to run position.

NO other lights come on, no radio, no dome, NOTHING

At first thought it was a dead battery - tried jumping... NOTHING

Then I started thinking about that light - it seems to stay on, and jumping didn't even turn on the dome lights or ANYTHING

Took cable off of battery, let it sit for like 5 minutes, put back on - nothing

Checked all fuses, they all seem to be good.

HELP I need this truck running so i can get to work monday!!!

Edit: Found elsewhere that taking off negative cable and putting key to "start" position for 15 secs, then reconnect battery should reset alarm.... didn't work either

Well, found out the problem....
Although i was trying to JUMP the truck, it didn't work because the battery was really really dead, and my wife's car just couldn't give me enough juice to get it running.

Battery tester said i basically was holding 4 volts.... yeah... not good

Put in new battery and poof, gtg!!!

Yeah, I was going to say that the caliber had a similar issue after sitting. the battery had a bad cell and wouldnt hold a charge. the security light was on.

New battery, no light.
