I'm trying to track down ocassional rough idle and ocassional abrupt stall. I'm really getting bummed out about this. I did replace the IAC idle motor in the throttle body.
I'm afraid the dealership won't be able to successfully diagnose on the scanner. There isn't a MIL/Check Engine light that stays on when any of this happens.

Ok I did some more research on the mystery PCV. In late 2006 Dodge changed the location of the PCV on the 4.7 from the filler neck to the back of the drivers side valve head.
If you look at the emissions diagram on the hood of your Dakota it will show you the location. It is the blue item at the top of the picture. (see picture)
