From what ive gathered, they are cursed from the start.

http://etereman.com/blog/fiat-transm...e-transmission

Overheating, Clutch pack fails, abuse.

I talked to guy once that had a 05 QC 2wd V6, had around 210K miles, said he replaced the transmission 3 times.

Hoping mine goes at least 180K, only time will tell. Just change your fluid often and filter and hope that Chrysler engineering shines thru

Maybe if you let us know what problem you're having someone can help.

My temp light came on and it was slipping in first. It also was shifting funny.

Got 168K miles racked up so far...

No real issues with the tranny at all (knock on wood)

Granted, I kinda babied her for the first 75K; plus, I flushed the fluid twice thus far (so vary happy I installed a drain plug after the first flush)

I also could be driving and have to speed up fast so I floor the pedal and it will rev the motor up to 5 and 6 k then the truck will slowly speed up

Hopefully a mod will merge this thread with your other similar thread, try to keep it all in one place.

Now, when was your trans fluid changed last? Were the filters changed too? These trucks will shift better with OEM trans filters.

I wanted one in the Dakota forum and one in the ram forum so I would get more ideas but I guess a mod didn't won't it that way.
