Needing to change water pump on 2008 Dodge Dakota with 3.7 engine. Need up front explanation on fan drive removal from water pump. As I'm standing in front of engine looking back, what way is the threads on the fan clutch? Do I turn it as a right or left hand thread? Is the big looking nut a head to a bolt that threads into the shaft on the water pump? Any other things to look out for? Thanks

 

Got it! The threads are right handed threads. Standing in front of engine looking back turn the large nut on fan clutch drive counterclockwise. Thanks
