Default 2005 dodge dakota fuel problem

Every time i fill my truck up, i get the check engine light. I don't over fill it, and i make sure the gas cap is tight enough.

After I fill up, all is well, gas gauge reads full, no light. Then, after I drive for 15-20 miles. I get the check engine light. Then the gas gauge goes random where it may drop to empty, half a tank, 1/4, etc. Does this for maybe another 10-20 miles and goes back to normal. The check engine light also turns off.

After that the gauge is accurate and no problems until I fill up again. And the exact same thing happens at the same points.

I should also note that the truck never runs bad or stumbles, not before, during, or after the light.

a lot of times there is air stuck in the tank, always after I fill up, I leave the cap off for about 30 seconds to help let the air in tank escape, try this next time you fill up.
