Hello. I have a 2006 dodge Dakota rwd 3.7 v6 with 55xxx. When I purchased this truck it had some problems. I have put new tires, upper and lower ball joint on the right side, new rack and pinion, new tie rods and an ailgnment. After all that a new noise came about. Mainly right after I changed the rack and pinion. It sounds like the front driver side grinding/roar. Starts at about 35-45 and gets louder with increase speed. So I replaced the wheel bearing hub. That didn't fix it. So I thought maybe a wrapped rotor. Replaced that. Didn't fixed it. Any idea what the problem could be?
Had a sound like that did the same replaced both front bearing hubs and still noise turned out to be the Goodyear Wrangler tire I had on there. even guy at tire shop said I had bad front bearings but new tires and no more sound.
