Default running boards/bars - 2014 DD

Just picked up a 2014 DD Rallye, been looking at aftermarket running bars/boards, thinking about going with Romik black, has anyone purchased them on theirs, if so, any issues, concerns, was the lower rocker panel cladding any issue when installing, did you get the extender? thx

I think i saw somewhere on here that a poster ordered Romnik for an RT and they didn't work. I went with DeeZee on my RT.

thx yea I read that one, seems the rocker cladding causes an issue, my 2014 DD Rallye has lower rocker panel cladding which may be an issue too

Yes, I installed myself, no issues, instructions are pretty clear. I used a set of car ramps and placed one on rear tire and another on front to be able to get underneath.

if you were local to nyc, i'd hook you up with my brand new mopar molded running boards for cheap. After deciding i want a supercharger in this, running boards dont look right

you prefer the look of the DD without the running boards eh....I'm in central Jersey, south of Trenton, was looking at the black Romik running board step but thinking that the DD looks best w/o boards....

yea even the wife agreed that the R/T does NOT need running boards. But everyone is different, as mentioned in other threads, if you have young children, it might make sense.
