On a forum somewhere, it was said the wiring setup is totally different, but where there is a will, there might be a way.
BTW… are we not hitting the time of year when Jeep and Dodge have some of their biggest rebates to help move any remaining left over inventory? I know I saved around 10K on my 2013 Citadel in Sept of last year. We are looking to replace the wife's Toyota Highlander and it might end up being a new Cherokee if we see a decent rebate program hit.
I had thought about trading in the 2013 Durango on either a Power Wagon or Unlimited Rubicon, but in many ways the Durango is a perfect vehicle with decent off-road chops when the ground clearance and "angles" are not a limiting factor.
Last but not least… I did do some measuring of the tread imprint area of a set of 275R55/20 Destination A/Ts compared to other similar 32" size tires on 17" and 18" wheels. Turns out the 20" radios offers a 9.3" wide tread contact versus around 8" on the same size 17"/18" tire. So when a 18" tire would provide 102 sq" @ 15psi, the 20" tire provided 105 sq" @ 20psi and 114 sq" @ 15psi. This might explain why many sand drivers have experienced a very good "float" on the Durango 20" wheels at 20-25psi compared to other vehicles on 17/18" tires. Just a heads up.
